Private dance lessons are our most expensive option. With that said, total beginners, seasoned intermediates, and hardcore competitors will all find undeniable value. JC Dance Co teachers are all highly skilled in their ability to adapt their teaching to perfectly suit their student’s needs. There are two ways to work one-to-one with your JC Dance Co teacher.

Couple's Private Lessons

Each dance couple is unique with their own different strengths and weaknesses. We’ll work alongside you and your partner to explore how to take advantage of your strengths and improve your weaknesses so that you’re a better balanced partnership. Topics such as connection, movement, choreography and musicality are just some of the topics that can be explored in great detail to make you and your partner better dancers and a better dance couple.

JC Dance Co. private lesson couples have found great success on the the social and competitive dance floor. They find more enjoyment in their dancing, because their goals, technique and expectations are better matched than before they started private lessons.

Be confident you will never be pressured into signing a private lesson package contract. All our private lessons are pay-as-you-go. We’re so confident you’ll want to come back for more. Therefore we don’t try to trap you into long commitments like other dance companies do. We believe a flexible relationship is a balanced relationship!

Lessons are 45 minutes in length and can be booked whenever a teacher is available.

Pro/Am Lessons

Turbo boost your improvement with Western Canada’s only team of World Champion Pro-Am coaches. Similar to the kind of dancing you see on Dancing With the Stars (without the Hollywood drama), Pro/Am refers to performances and competitions where a Professional is dancing with an Amateur. Having a professional dance partner turbo boosts your growth as a dancer. The only limitation is your own focus and dedication.

JC Dance Co. Pro/Am students have achieved the highest possible awards, from winning local celebrity Dancing with the Stars events and regional competitions, to winning the North American Championships and the World Championships! No other dance company in Western Canada has achieved so much success at the highest levels. JC Dance Co is truly proud of its teachers and their students!

Lessons are either 45, 60 or 90 minutes in length and can be scheduled whenever a teacher is available.
