After a 2 year break, ballroom dance group classes have returned to Vancouver, and we’re having fun once again!!!
These ballroom dance group class packages give you the opportunity to learn directly from Teacher Joel of JC Dance Co. Widely regarded as one of Vancouver’s best ballroom dance teachers, Joel blends his 16+ years of professional dance teaching experience with his knack for keeping class fun, light and engaging. Come as a single dancer, with a partner or better yet, a group of friends! Everyone is welcome.
Below are the proposed ballroom group class schedules. Please note that class times and content may change slightly from this tentative schedule. The final schedule will be confirmed by the last week of December.
Beginner Ballroom Group Class
- Geared towards total beginner ballroom dancers
- Wednesdays, 7:15-8:10pm, starting April 17th
- Polish Community Centre, 4015 Fraser Street (@ King Edward Ave)
- Total of 12 classes, each 55 minutes in duration
- Package price is about $25 per class per student (Daily drop-in is $30 per class per student) – That’s 3 FREE CLASSES when you purchase the package below!!!
- Free admission to the Monday evening Open Practice Session from 8:30 – 10:00pm
- Beginner ballroom dances taught:
- Waltz
- Tango
- Social Foxtrot
- Quickstep
- Cha Cha
- Rumba
- Jive
Intermediate Ballroom Group Class
- Geared towards ballroom dancers at a bronze level or higher.
- Mondays, 7:35 – 8:30pm starting April 15th
- Polish Community Centre, 4015 Fraser Street (@ King Edward Ave)
- Total of 12 classes, each 55 minutes in duration
- Package price is about $25 per class per student (Daily drop-in is $30 per class per student) – That’s 3 FREE CLASSES when you purchase the package below!!!
- Free admission to the Open Practice Session that runs after Intermediate Group Class 8:30 – 10:00pm.
- Intermediate ballroom dances taught:
- Waltz
- Tango
- Quickstep
- Cha Cha
- Rumba
- Jive
